If you eat it, do not expect to receive Mario superpowers. Rather, expect a painful death within 24 hours as your stomach absorbs the poison.

On a lighter note, great job on focusing the lens onto the mushroom itself.

It wont kill you lol. Shamans have used these mushrooms as psychedelic drugs for thousands of years and people still do it. Its Amanita Muscaria.

It is poisonous, and will give you nasty uncomfortable effects but IIRC you wont die from eating a cap or two (which is enough for you to feel the effects) or maybe you had to dry it/prepare it first ..? I am not an expert but I know for a fact they are used for spiritual experiences. Psilocybin mushrooms are way safer&better thouggh if you looking to trip

Edit: I mean it definitely CAN kill you, just in high-ish doses from my researches

Amanita muscaria is ,although a quite magical mushroom, a pretty common fellow everywhere on the northern hemisphere.

Amanita muscaria, commonly known as the fly agaric or fly amanita. its psychoactive and commonly associated with christmas in ancient times and right upto today. Also it grows well near Christmas trees.
